Among the many places I dragged Alex around in New York, the Glossier flagship store on 123 Lafayette Street was a must.
The brand made waves on social media a few years ago with it’s sleek, minimalistic baby pink aesthetic. Many beauty enthusiasts (myself included) were drawn to the pared back looks where skincare meets makeup. I have to admit, I was way to excited to find out what a ‘milky jelly’ cleanser felt like. Fast forward three years and Glossier has a plethora of new products but still only available to deliver to select countries.
Pre – covid days in experiential retail. Testers testers everywhere! Loved having a play with all the scents and textures.
In the end I stuck to three items which came packed in a bubblegum pink bubble wrap pouch, down a vertical conveyor and signed with my name (soo extra heh).
The concealer and balm dotcom have lasted for quite a while (a little goes a long way) and are still my favourites to this day.
