Island Hopping Oslo Fjord

One of the most unique things about Oslo are the little islands of the inner Oslo fjord. There are a handful of islands you are able to visit by ferry from the Aker Brygge terminal and our first stop was to Lindøya, a ildyllic little island 20 minutes from the city centre and full of cute bright cottages. It felt like we were walking in a movie to be honest, and you could easily walk around the whole island in less than an hour. Besides houses there is a small convenience store and a football field. Locals boarded the ferry with our group to commute home where small streets and large grassy fields were a stark contrast to the city. We wandered around neighbourhoods and goggled over how adorable the cottages are (I still can’t get over it). Tranquility/10.
