Dandelion [August-September] Update

Ola!

Firstly, thanks to the few who made it apparent to me that I needed to drop this blogpost.

(Though we are halfway in October so ehhh…)

Recently, I’ve felt like plum turned prune- with spiking levels of inspiration from time to time. Truth is, I have fallen into a creative slump with hopes of improving that during summer holidays. Not to mention my growing (semi) permanent case of wanderlust has me scrolling endlessly through travelgram accounts and #hashtags like there’s no tomorrow…Although I have found myself consciously teetering on the edge of adulthood in all its responsibilities, problems and opportunities. My constant forgetfulness isn’t helping in the slightest.

On the upside, I made two trips to the Gold Coast, ate mooncakes aplenty and completed season one of Sense 8. whee!

August saw the end of hotpot days for 2016. They will be greatly missed.

‘Tis wedding season 😉

A top I found in ZARA (I just noticed the price tag was visible haha)….really wished I bought it ._.

Monsterthreads– the cutest store on Adelaide St.

Thinking of getting camera… thanks to those who gave me recommendations :’)

I’ve grown mildly obsessed with shoes because no matter how much I eat, I won’t outgrow a good pair of kicks 😀

Insta giveaway prize from billie. Surprisingly hooked on the Kat Von D liquid lipstick.

Finally tried Sydney’s Aqua S unicorn ice cream in Wintergarden.

First black tie uni event at Law Dinner. Regrettably, I didn’t take care of myself that week so had to skip the after-party. Cheers to the guy who was literally falling out his chair drunk in the table in front during the barrister speech. Also, I have no idea what happened to the DJ *tries to jam to dubstep aslweizkxljvhkjdg*

sneaky peaky hehehe

*resists the urge to jump over the fence and stick fingers into the sand*

Got lost on Mt Tambourine trying to find the Skywalks, the drive there was so beautiful though.

Ripley’s Believe it or Not, full of crazy stuff and yes, at times hard to believe. A lock of Abraham Lincoln’s hair? hmm…

Making rounds and rounds through the laser room.

Back at JFK.

the best.

My summer goals:

1. Pump up my culinary skills

2. Be able to swim 100 meters without internally screaming – I need that snorkelling prep

3. Pick up a bit of guitar for some heartfelt strumming

Hope that perked up any post-weekend blues and good luck to us all for the last weeks of the academic year.

May we still look alive when it’s over.
