Bloggers United [Brisbane] Event and Haul

Happy Monday to you~

Last Sunday I had the joyful opportunity of attending Bloggers United first Brisbane event. I didn’t realise tickets were selling until a week later which made me feel a bit desperate with FOMO because I know there aren’t many events like this held in Brissie. Luckily I managed to secure a spot! ^_^

The event was held at The Fox Hotel at Southbank

Presentations and formalities ready to go!

We heard 15 minute presentations from each of the brands present at the event to learn about their products and the core values of each brand. We also had time to speak to the wonderful representatives and play with their products. I really liked how a majority of these brands were Australian based.

Many of the brands were advocates of cruelty free, natural products free of harsh chemicals detrimental to our health. I found Lana King from Create Your Cosmetics quite amazing, she had an inspiring story about how she wanted to know (and control) every ingredient she was using in her lipsticks. As a result she started up a local business where she teaches how to create your own cosmetics which I think is pretttty awesome. 😀

Boe Professional

 Dr Hauschka

Nature Siberica

BeautyNext Australia

The haulage, I was using public transport that day so I found it a bit hard to get around with everything :’D hahaha

Oh my glob.

Kiehls samples! I was so giddy at these and considering purchasing either the day or night concentrate.

Maybelline goodies!!! (Not sure why this photo is so grainy…x_x)

Boe Professional cosmetics- I haven’t been to BigW in yonks so these are completely new to me.

Dr Hauschka Face Care Kit and Regenerating Skin Care Kit + very extensive catalogue *o*

Elucent skincare- they were so generous to provide everyone with the complete whitening range (available from Chemist Warehouse). I am pretty fair already so I’ll see how this goes :’)

Mineral Lip Colour from Vani T, a South Australian mineral beauty brand. The packaging is gorgeous ~.~

Enbacci samples- looking forward to trying these out 😀

Injex Clinics and Jexon Cosmetics based in Capalaba

A variety of cosmetics from Beauty Next Australia– suppliers of The Balm, Barry M, Sleek and Nyx

Miscellaneous Items received from Bloggers United; moisturisers, body scrubs, brushes, creams and even a jar of jam. I’ve already started using the rosehip oil from Rosehip plus.  Really into oils right now…

It’ll take me a while to try the products and I’ll be sharing some with family and friends to see what their thoughts are. I’m super grateful to all the brands who sponsored these !

Group shot!!!

I had a great time at this event and really hope to go again in the future. I only wish I had more time to talk to everyone. Many Thanks to Bloggers United AU 🙂
