April Favourites

Greetings !

Hope you guys have been well ^_^

It’s the 3rd of May and I’m on time (sort of) with monthly favourites. These days I’m more or less busy with university- trying to get more involved in campus and extra curricular activities and I’ve managed to pick some things up this month. Now on to the favouriiites…

1. New computer yasss- Huge upgrade from my 4 year old brick laptop. Added a Pikachu decal for a nice personal touch.

Story/Rant: I took the plunge of purchasing a Mac because despite all my friends telling me not to get a Lenovo, I bought a new Lenovo (X250). It took six weeks to arrive and when it did, I wanted to return it (terrible logic I know but I was soooo convinced it’d be good for me). Big turn offs- the screen viewing was worse than my old computer and sound was coming from the bottom of the laptop (like whaaaaat…?). I made countless calls regarding my order, returns was a hassle because I was being referred to different departments of the freight company and it was the most head-aching thing. Delays are real guys. Especially if your product is getting shipped from China.

Kikki. K Elle Bag– I love the Stockholm collection by Kikki.K and I happened to be in the store during end of season sales. I saw this for 40% off the normal price and contemplated for a few two days before rushing back to the saleswoman on a Saturday screaming ‘TAKE MY MONEY’(okay not literally, but she could tell I was excited). It’s a perfect sized leather bag for a day out and has one of the best compartment features I’ve come across. The bags I own are just one big space with a small pocket or two so it’s a level up on organisation. I opted for the taupe but it’s also available in sky blue.

BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Daisy– Love the scent and been using it everyday, unlike a lot of celebrity fragrances it’s not super sweet and overpowering. It’s subtle and pleasant. The only bad thing I found about this perfume is that it doesn’t last that long…

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation– second bottle of my favourite drugstore foundation, perfect match, great coverage and lasts the whole day w00t

Essence I Love Nude Baked Eyeshadow in no.4  sweet like chocolate– packs a bunch of product for what you pay for. Super soft like the Models Prefer Soft Touch Powders (Hourglass dupe), pigmentation is sheer but has a gentle shimmer.

Mask of Magnaminty– Handy during breakouts and Lush’s new sample containers are like little macarons. eee

Gearing up for sweater weather with cardigans, tights and coats. My wardrobe is slowly turning into fifty shades of grey because that’s what I find myself being attracted to almost everyday. I’m constantly hanging on to this fleece blanket from Daiso- they come in a few designs and sooo comfy. If I could buy all the socks at Daiso I would…

I’d love to hear about your April favourites!
