I am back with another Lush review! This time it’s one that’s been at the back of my mind for years, and I was so happy to receive this as part of a secret santa gift !!! This cute little tin is packed to the brim with bright red- perfect for the festive season <3 ahhh~
The product itself doesn’t have any flashy claims but simply adds intense pigmented colour to your lips. It seems quite hard at first when you rub the product but melts a little with the warmth of your fingers and the power of friction. The cola scent is simply delightful, making it fun and enjoyable to apply. Also. lasts ages, I can put this on in the morning and be able to see it at the end of the day so that’s something that really impressed me.
Only downside to it is the texture doesn’t lend itself too well to smooth application. It’s a dry tint but doesn’t dry out the lips. Often it can turn out patchy because you need to rub it around to blend (and not go over your lipline). I always follow with some pawpaw ointment which helps finish the look, even out the colour and add some moisture.
Weng, you have beautiful English, while reading this, I felt like reading a poem! ^^I think, this tint looks like lip balm, but I never heard of "Lush" brand. Thank you for the review and have a nice day ~Nana ^^
Thank you Nana! I'm always trying to improve my writing. Lush is very popular here in Australia ~ I hope you get to try their products sometime! ~Weng
Oooh, I've never really looked at Lush's makeup side of products because I feel like some other drugstore alternatives are probably superior for a cheaper price. Santa baby sounds like an interesting product, but I don't think I can deal with the extra work this product seems to involve, esp not on the days when I have dry lips ahah ♡ t w o p l i c a t e s
Yeah, it does require a bit of effort to apply so it's not a lip product I'd bring out with me. The lasting power is great so I don't mind it :p
